Is Matt Damon Scared of Sarah Palin?

Matt Damon talks about his fear of Sarah Palin in a recent CBS interview (watch below). Damon fears her because he “doesn’t know anything about her”. Here is a thought… educate yourself and seek out the truth about Palin.
Here are a few of my own thoughts to some of Damon’s comments:
“I don’t know if in 8 weeks I am going to know anything about her.”
How long does it take to get to know someone? In less than 2 weeks, the media has dug up everything they possibly can. (and even made up some things along the way) How much did you know about Joe Biden before Obama picked him to be his running mate? How much do you know about Obama for that matter?
“She was governor of Alaska for less than two years. I don’t understand, I think the pick was done for political purposes.”
Obama has been a U.S. Senator for less than three years, and has campaigned for one of those years. So, if my first grade math serves me correct, that means Palin has two more years of executive experience than both Obama and Biden have combined.
I agree that McCain’s pick of Palin was partially politically driven. I would also venture to guess the reason was Obama did NOT pick Hilary was for personal reasons. Which is worse?
Hilary received 18 million votes and Obama didn’t even consider her for the number two spot on the ticket. McCain’s pick of Palin is turning out to be one of the best political decisions of his career.
“… a one in three chance, if not more, McCain won’t survive his first term.”
I think Matt has been reading too many left-wing blogs.

This is exactly what the liberals fear the most. A qualified, competent, NRA member, Christian, pro-life, Republican leader who just happens to also be a woman. The Democrats are “supposed” to be the one’s to shatter the glass ceiling for Women. It was Hillary (actually Geraldine Ferraro before her) who put the 18 million cracks in this ceiling, but Palin is close to officially do the shattering.
The “old” feminist movement doesn’t know what to do because there is a new feminist movement happening that is being led by an Elephant not a Donkey.
“I need to know if she really thinks dinosaurs were here 4000 years ago.
For someone who is in the celebrity spotlight, I would have thought Matt would have learned not to believe everything he reads. This rumor has been refuted.

Hey, Matt most VP selections are made for political purpose’s, thats why
its called politics. I thought Harvard folks were suppose to be smart.
Yes there is a chance that Palin could have to take over, but she still
has more leadership experiance then Obama. Your man has missed almost
50 percent of his votes in the senate over the last 3 years.
Lets talk dinosaurs,90 percent of the worlds population believes in God and
nearly half believe in some form of creation, Its sad that these peoples’
faith scares you so much. You know what scares me, your guy believing
a proceduce in which a child in the six to ninth month of preganacy is
injected with saline and then if all goes to plan is still born. The scary
part is they aren’t always still born. Your guy believing this is acceptable
and part of a womens right to choose is scary as hell.
