Palin on Oprah – Maybe After the Election

September 8, 2008 by Celebolitics - Celebrity Politics

After a post on DrudgeReport.com that claims Oprah‘s staff is divided on inviting Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin on her show.

Shortly after this Drudge post, Oprah sent a statement to news organizations stating that her show has not had any discussion about having Sarah Palin on the Oprah Winfrey show.

In this statement, Oprah explains, “I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over.

After the campaign is over? After? Why not before? Now is when the Palin story is in the news.

Oprah has every right to leave Palin off the guest list, but I find it interesting that Oprah wouldn’t seek out a Palin interview as soon as possible.

I would have thought Oprah would be celebrating the history that has been made with Palin’s nomination by the Republican party? I give Oprah credit for sticking to her political believes and not opting for record ratings.

Obviously, the thought of allowing Palin access to Oprah’s soccer mom (and hockey mom) audience scares the Obama/Oprah camp.

What do you think? Do you agree with Oprah’s statement that she would love to have Palin on the show or do you feel she is showing bias?

    Oprah is a disgrace.

She has Obama on the show and she urges viewers to contact their Senators about some upcoming legislation, but she says she won’t have Palin on before the election because she doesn’t intend her show to be a political forum.

Either A) she’s really stupid enough to say something like that, or B) she thinks we’re stupid enough not to catch her in her hypocrisy.

Here’s the silver lining with all these clowns: Because of Palin’s re-invigoration of the Republican base against their Messiah, Hollywood/media icons on the left being forced to play their hand to a degree that they have never played it before. The result is that more average Americans are seeing them for what they really are – liberal hacks and pawns of the left, which discredits them as individuals and undermines their influence.

Liberalism, in the end, always caves in on itself and blows itself up.
