I believe there must have been more reasons for Penn winning this award, other than his famous (or infamous) liberalism, and Rourke not. It's not close minded to disagree with someone's opinion. I believe that referring to Penn as "closeminded" is like saying, "he can have an opinion; as long as he doesn't voice it." I believe he's right. You're saying that people can't voice an opinion against an opinion without being closeminded.
