John McCain canceled his appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman so he could head back to Washington and work to address the current economic crisis.

So in keeping with the spirit of Celebolitics, David Letterman shows us another example of the Liberal media bias we have in this country.

Here are my Top Ten Reasons why David Letterman is a flaming Liberal:

He feels his show is more important than the country.

He replaces McCain with another flaming liberal Keith Olberman

He wonders why McCain would rather go back to Washington and do his job and what the people of Arizona elected him to do.

Entitlement – Letterman feels he is entitled to have John McCain on his show.

Asked Barack Obama, “Have you ever put lipstick on a pig?”, as his hard hitting question.

Letterman thinks something is wrong with McCain for putting the business of the country before his show.

Barack Obama’s Late Show appearance = Letterman gushing and gitty

Said “Governor Palin has not handled a crisis in the past.” (Remind me what crisis Obama has handled as a community leader and Senator. Obama’s record of handling tough situations can be summed up by “voting present”.)

Thinks McCain wants to suspend his campaign because his poll numbers are “slipping”. Note to Letterman: Not all politicians are driven solely by polls.

He thinks Obama’s “sit back and do nothing” approach on the economy is more Presidential than McCain’s ability to prioritize and make tough decisions.

Watch Letterman’s comments and draw your own conclusion.

After watching John McCain‘s appearance on ABC’s The View, I am appalled at how disrespectful, smug, and downright rude Barbara Walters was to McCain. Walters interrupted McCain multiple times and made jabs at him under her breath.

McCain showed great class by not stopping and telling her to stop talking and let him finish answering the questions. It would have been a struggle for me to show as much patience he showed while being shown such disrespect.

The first question Walters asks is why he chose Sarah Palin as his VP pick. McCain goes on to explain that she “is a great person”, “a great governor”, “the most popular governor in America”, “she understands energy issues”, “she’s ignited a spark in America”, “she’s gotten people engaged in the political process”, and “she’s good for America”. In the middle of his explanation, Barbara quickly realizes that she just gave McCain the time to say all these nice things about Palin. Walters then interrupts his answer by saying “you are going to make me regret asking that question”.

I think that set the stage for the rest of the interview.

Barbara then goes on the attack by asking for specifics in how Gov. Palin will reform Washington. Has anyone ever asked Obama or Biden about specifics?

McCain calmly and systematically details out specific examples that show how she has reformed politics in Alaska.

Barbara, what specifically has Obama done in his time in the Senate? Let’s take a look at how you sought these policy specifics from Obama when he appeared on your show.

Nothing there… Let’s see if part two has your hard hitting questions…

Some mention of Obama’s relationship with Rev. Wright, but no real digging into Obama’s poor judge of character for 20 years. Maybe the hard hitting questions come in part three… Let’s see…

Still nothing… Maybe they save the hard hitting questions for last…

Wow. It was great to see that you have such great journalistic integrity when it comes to your political interviews. When you watch the McCain interview and compare it to the Obama interview it is obvious why one of the themes of the Republican National Convention was to bring light to the liberal media.

Not once was Obama interrupted or asked a specific question like Walters demanded of McCain during his interview.

Kudos to McCain for appearing on an obviously pro-liberal show. Once again, McCain shows that he is not afraid to be thrown to the wolves and do it with class. Have no fear, Obabma will have his turn during the debates to answer specific policy questions without the help of his teleprompter telling him exactly what to say.

The head to head debates will show the American people who is ready to be President and who just has the ability to be a really good speaker.

As for Barbara, I think she has already made up her mind.

What are your thoughts? Was Walters disrespectful of John McCain, or was her interview approach appropriate? Leave your comments below.

After a post on DrudgeReport.com that claims Oprah‘s staff is divided on inviting Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin on her show.

Shortly after this Drudge post, Oprah sent a statement to news organizations stating that her show has not had any discussion about having Sarah Palin on the Oprah Winfrey show.

In this statement, Oprah explains, “I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over.”

After the campaign is over? After? Why not before? Now is when the Palin story is in the news.

Oprah has every right to leave Palin off the guest list, but I find it interesting that Oprah wouldn’t seek out a Palin interview as soon as possible.

I would have thought Oprah would be celebrating the history that has been made with Palin’s nomination by the Republican party? I give Oprah credit for sticking to her political believes and not opting for record ratings.

Obviously, the thought of allowing Palin access to Oprah’s soccer mom (and hockey mom) audience scares the Obama/Oprah camp.

What do you think? Do you agree with Oprah’s statement that she would love to have Palin on the show or do you feel she is showing bias?

MTV should be ashamed of letting Russell Brand host the VMA‘s. Brand opens the show by pleading with the audience to vote for Barack Obama. The celebrity filled venue cheers. The British host explains that the world is hoping we elect Obama.

Brand then continues to be “fair and balanced” makes crude jokes about Sarah Palin and her pregnant daughter.

Not stopping there, Brand then goes on to belittle the Jonas Brothers virginity commitment rings.

MTV and their executives have obviously rolled out this no-name, no-talent, hack to push their liberal agenda. What better way to reach the young voting demographic? Thankfully, the VMA’s are so bad I doubt there are many people watching.

The battle continues for traditional family values American values.

Thursday 9/4/2008, Keith Olbermann apologized to his viewers for showing his viewers a Republican National Convention video that showed a “graphic” video of 9/11.

Olbermann’s apology

Now watch the RNC video on 9/11

After watching the RNC video, it reminded me again what happened on that horrible day and why it is so critical that the radical Islamic crazies that continue to plan actions that are much worse than this be defeated.

Keith Olbermann what are you apologizing for? Do you feel that seeing those images from 9 years ago will bring back the anger and resolve this country once had to fighting this war? Do you feel that more and more people will realize that we need someone who has more than community leader “experience” and survived a “tough” couple of months winning the Democratic nomination for President?

The images shown in the video are no more graphic than images shown on MSNBC every night. America has become a soft, whinny society and needs to be reminded of what is at stake if we loose our focus.

Keith, thanks for once again showing how far Left your “News” organization has fallen. You give me another reason to turn off the television and do something more productive with the evening.
